An ancient system of astrology, also known as Jyotish, a sanskrit term meaning light. This divine science passed down by ancient rishis (sages of advanced spirituality) of India helps to shed light on our past and future paths and understand our karmas. It allows an understanding of our present situation and the big cycles of our life bringing a feeling of security, relief and alignment. In terms of health, it helps to know better our doshas (constitution) and areas of focus at certain times in life.
What to expect from a consultation?
Session is held online over a zoom video call. Each session is recorded and clients will receive the recording along with a multi-page document transcribing the full reading for future reference.Â

How is this different from Western Astrology?
1. It is a sidereal astrology, based on fixed stars, instead of tropical, based on seasons, which means you may be a different sign with this astrology!
2. In addition to the 12 solar signs, there are 27 lunar signs called nakshatras, which help go further and deeper in the interpretation.
3. In addition to natal charts, in vedic astrology there are divisional charts to go further in a certain area of life.
4. It includes a system of Dasha (planetary periods) that indicates what is activated in your chart and for how long.
5. Also offers remedial measures, to strengthen planets and improve certain areas of life.
About Our Vedic Astrologer
Marie-JosĂŠe is a vedic astrologer with 10 years of experience in Jyotish (vedic astrology) and 20 years of experience in western astrology. She is certified from the ACVA (Americain College of Vedic Astrology) and has also studied Vedic palmistry. Through her travels in India, she learnt Jyotish, sitar and sanskrit.
She has a B.A. in French literature and Journalism plus a certificate in Translation. She has also completed her certification of Yoga at Shivananda Yoga Camp and been actively on a spiritual path for more than 30 years. Through this experience, she skillfully transmits her wisdom in her readings and guides people in a positive and non-harming manner.
