Botanical name: Asparagus Racemosus

Shatavari is Sanskrit for “one who processes hundreds of husbands” referring to its strong female reproductive rejuvenating action. It is traditionally used in Ayurveda to  increase female fertility, milk production, nourish the ovum and regulate hormones. Shatavari is also known for its special cool and moistening quality and ability to soothe dry and inflamed mucus membranes of the body.  For this reason, it is very pacifying to pitta dosha. Common Use

• Used in Herbal Medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress.

Recommended Use

2-6 grams of powder per day for adults
* 1 serving = 1 gm = 1/4 teaspoon
