1st Part Ingredients (organic)
- 
1 cup of almond milk 
- 
1/2 cup unprocessed rolled or steel cut oats 
- 
10 raisins 
- 
1 Tsp pumpkin seeds 
- 
1 Tsp sunflower seeds 
- 
1 tsp walnuts (optional) 
2nd Part Ingredients (organic)
- 
1 cup of water 
- 
1/2 apple, pear or peach chopped 
- 
Overnight soaked and peeled almonds 
- 
Pinch cardamom powder 
- 
Pinch fennel seeds 
- 
Pinch cinnamon 
- 
1 tsp of maple syrup or jaggery 
Preparation:
- 
Mix all 1st part ingredients in a bowl or jar and soak overnight in the fridge. 
Cooking Instructions:
- 
Add 2nd part ingredients to soaked mix. 
- 
Cook on medium heat for 5-10 min or until oats are well cooked 
- 
Keep stirring and add hot water to the mix if it becomes dry. Avoid letting the mix dry up or from becoming too sticky 
- 
Top it off with a bit of extra maple syrup if you wish! 
Tips:
- 
You may use honey as sweetener as an alternative but remember to add honey at the end after cooking is complete as honey can become toxic when cooked at a high temperature. 
- 
If cooking in an instant pot, you may add 1st and 2nd part ingredients all at once and cook for 6-7 minutes on high pressure, pressure cook setting.
