Sukshma Yoga helps improve circulation, reduce stress and tension and encourage daily movement of all the joints:
- Gently massage your head and scalp.
- Pinch your eyebrows 5 times using your thumb and index finger.
- Roll your eyes 5 times clockwise and counter-clockwise.
- Squeeze your eyes tight and open them wide, repeat 10 times.
- Pull your earlobes downwards and hold for 10 seconds.
- Move your ears in circular motion, both directions.
- Open your mouth and massage your jawline using three fingers downward.
- Open and close your jaw 8 times.
- Open your mouth and move your jaw side to side 8 times.
- Breath in and tilt head back, breathing out bring chin to chest.
- Rotate the head clockwise and counter-clockwise, 5 times synchronizing breath with movement
- Rotate the shoulders 5 times in both directions.
- Open and close your fists 5 times, rotate in both directions.
- Press both hands together, in Namaste position, hold for 10 seconds, clap 10 times.
- Shake your hands vigorously for 10 seconds.
- Keep your head in place and rotate the hips 5 times in both directions.
- Bring the feet together, place your hands on the knees, bend the knees and rotate 5 times in both directions.
- Rotate your ankles one at a time in both directions 5 times.
- Kick out gently from the knees, one leg at a time and then swing the whole leg from the hip joint.
Follow by sitting in sukhasana, cross legged position, and take 10 deep breaths with attention on incoming and outgoing breath like watching the waves of the ocean. Finish with a meditation or lying down on your back for shavasana, corpse pose for 5-10 minutes.
