Dashamula is a classical Ayurvedic formula, its Sanskrit name literally means “ten roots”. It removes excess vata from the body, specifically restoring the proper movement of apana vayu (air in the body responsible for the elimination of wastes) down and out of the body. For this reason, it is a common ingredient in Ayurveda for water decoction enemas to clean the GI tract and regulate elimination. Dashamula is also appreciated for its ability to calm and stabilize the nervous system, support healthy respiratory function and alleviates weakness, inflammation and pain.

Botanical names: Solanum Indicum, Desmodium gangeticum, Uraria picta, Solanum Xanthocarpum, Tribulus Terrestris, Aegle marmelos, Clerodendron phlomoides, Stereopurmum souveolense, Gmelina Arborea, Oroxylum Indicum.

Traditionally used in Ayurveda to balance excess Vata and pacify Kapha and to strengthen and nourish body tissues.

Recommended Use

6 servings (1.5 teaspoons) 2-3 times daily.
1 Serving= 2 gram=1/4 teaspoon
